Two Point Museum x Cult of the Lamb Free Update Goes Live With Shrine Building, Expeditions and a Museum Cult System

Two Point Museum is now hosting a free crossover event with Devolver Digital's Cult of the Lamb, bringing roguelike shrines, expeditions and a devotion-driven cult system to the museum management sim as part of a new update called the Digiverse collaboration.

The free update, confirmed by Two Point Studios and listed on Steam as the Two Point Museum x Cult of the Lamb bundle, launched today across PC, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5 and Nintendo Switch 2. The crossover frames the collaboration as a temporal distortion caused by a coffee spill on an arcade machine inside the museum, which opens strange rifts to other worlds in a place the studio has named "The Digiverse." Through one of those rifts, players meet Ratau, the once-chosen vessel from Cult of the Lamb, who now guides curators through the new content.

Gameplay centers on building a working Museum Cult. Players craft a Shrine inside the Workshop, then convert museum guests into followers whose devotion earns Devotion, museum Buzz and offering-style donations. Each Exhibit unlocked on the new Cult Rewards tree must be crafted in the Workshop, and the Temple serves as the central hub for performing Rituals that shape the mindset of followers. Sending expedition teams into the land of false prophets opens four distinct points of interest, with each Expedition unfolding differently and unlocking more powerful Cult Rewards, decorative items and Temple upgrades. The patch also ships "a load of bug fixes, improvements and optimization changes," according to the official patch notes.
