Team Falcons Sweep Spacestation Gaming to Win Rocket League at Esports World Cup 2026

Team Falcons have claimed the Rocket League title at the Esports World Cup 2026, completing an impressive tournament run with a commanding 4-0 sweep over Spacestation Gaming in the Grand Final.

The Saudi Arabian organization entered the final with Yazid "Kiileerrz" Bakhashwin, Saleh "Rw9" Bakhashwin and Samy "dralii" Hajji and gave Spacestation Gaming very little room to respond.

The opening game proved to be the closest contest of the series. Spacestation Gaming forced overtime with a late equalizer, but Falcons eventually found the winning goal to take the early advantage.

From there, the series became increasingly one-sided. Falcons won Game 2 by 3-1 before producing an even more convincing 4-1 victory in Game 3. SSG attempted to apply early pressure with their tournament hopes on the line in Game 4, but Falcons survived the initial attacks and quickly took control to complete the sweep.

An undefeated road to the trophy

Falcons' dominance was not limited to the Grand Final.

The team progressed through the Group Stage without a defeat after victories over R8 Esports and Gentle Mates. They then eliminated Saudi rivals Twisted Minds 4-2 in the quarterfinals.

Their semifinal presented one of the biggest challenges on paper, with defending champions Karmine Corp standing between Falcons and the Grand Final.

Instead of producing a close series, Falcons delivered another statement performance and swept Karmine Corp 4-0 in front of the French crowd.

That meant Team Falcons went through both the semifinal and Grand Final without dropping a single game.

$400,000 and valuable Club Championship points

Winning the Rocket League competition earned Team Falcons the $400,000 first-place prize alongside 1,000 Esports World Cup Club Championship points.

The result also pushed Falcons back to the top of the overall Club Championship standings as the Esports World Cup entered its final week.

Rw9 received additional recognition for his performance, earning the SONY MVP award and an additional $25,000 prize.

Dralii completes an incredible three-peat

The victory also created a remarkable piece of Esports World Cup history for dralii.

The Moroccan player has now won the Rocket League competition at the Esports World Cup in three consecutive years with three different organizations.

He lifted the trophy with Team BDS in 2024, won again with Karmine Corp in 2025, and has now completed the three-peat as a member of Team Falcons in 2026.

After eliminating his former Karmine Corp teammates in the semifinal, dralii and Falcons finished the job against Spacestation Gaming to secure another major international trophy.
