Splatoon 3 Goes Live With Version 11.3.0 Update, Adding Splatoon Raiders Weapon Crossover

Nintendo has rolled out the Version 11.3.0 update for Splatoon 3 on August 19, 2026, bringing a crossover weapon from the Switch 2 spin-off Splatoon Raiders and a fresh round of multiplayer balance changes to both Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch 2 players.

According to Nintendo's official Splatoon 3 update history, version 11.3.0 unlocks the Plastic-Bottle Shot Replica inside the lobby terminal for players who have a Splatoon Raiders save file on the same system after clearing the spin-off's main story. To claim the crossover weapon, players must boot Splatoon 3 using the same user profile linked to that Splatoon Raiders save data. The Plastic-Bottle Shot Replica was first teased earlier in August as part of the ongoing link between the two ink-shooting titles.

Alongside the crossover, Nintendo has shipped an extensive set of multiplayer weapon adjustments aimed at rebalancing the Splatoon 3 meta, alongside a smaller bug fix for movement tied to the Squid Surge ability. The update lands as Splatoon 3 continues to be supported on both generations of Nintendo hardware, with the game having first launched on the original Switch before receiving a Switch 2 version. Splatoon Raiders, meanwhile, is one of the marquee Switch 2 exclusives tied to the Splatoon universe and acts as a single-player companion experience to Splatoon 3's online turf-war focus.

Players can grab the 11.3.0 update automatically if Software Auto-Updates is enabled on their console, or manually by highlighting Splatoon 3 on the HOME Menu, pressing the + or - Button, and selecting Software Update followed by Via the Internet.
