PlayStation Plus Monthly Games for September Are Sniper Elite: Resistance, MLB The Show 26, Wobbly Life and Chained Echoes
PlayStation has confirmed the September 2026 PlayStation Plus Monthly Games lineup, adding Sniper Elite: Resistance, MLB The Show 26, Wobbly Life and Chained Echoes for members to download from September 1 through October 5.

PlayStation has confirmed the four PlayStation Plus Monthly Games for September 2026, and the lineup leans hard into variety. From Tuesday, September 1, PlayStation Plus members can add Sniper Elite: Resistance, MLB The Show 26, Wobbly Life and Chained Echoes to their libraries and keep them until the end of the October monthly window on Monday, October 5, 2026.
The official announcement comes from Adam Michel, Director of Content Acquisition and Operations at Sony Interactive Entertainment, on the PlayStation Blog. The four games span a WW2 sniping campaign, a flagship baseball sim, a wobbly open-world sandbox and a 16-bit-style JRPG, with no clear single genre thread tying them together beyond being a strong cross-section of what PlayStation has shipped this generation.
Sniper Elite: Resistance leads the month for PS5 and PS4 players. The latest entry in Rebellion's sniping-and-stealth series pushes the action deep into occupied France, running parallel to the events of Sniper Elite 5. The full campaign supports two-player co-op, the fan-favourite Axis Invasion mode returns so players can invade another campaign as an Axis sniper, competitive 16-player battles are back, and Survival mode lets up to four players team up against AI waves.
MLB The Show 26 arrives on PS5 as the baseball pick of the month. This year's edition is being pitched as the most immersive entry in the series, with new and enhanced game modes, evolved features, fresh stadium effects and a wider college-game pipeline into Road To The Show, including 11 new college teams and the MLB Draft Combine. Diamond Dynasty expands with a new Red Diamond rarity across card series including the 2026 World Baseball Classic, the 2026 All-Star Game and the Pipeline Series. PlayStation Plus members also get exclusive access to an MLB The Show 26 Jump Start Bundle on the PlayStation Store, which unlocks 5 The Show Packs, 1 Equipment Pack and the Jumpstart Choice Pack between September 1 and October 6.
Wobbly Life lands on PS5 and PS4 for solo or four-player co-op, online or local split-screen, in the colourful open-world sandbox that has been one of the friendlier family-friendly hits of recent years. Almost everything in Wobbly Island is interactive, story missions are dressed up as mini-games and puzzles with unique rewards, and the new Arcade mode adds Trash Zone, Hide & Seek, Wobble Run and Sandbox with customisable settings.
Chained Echoes rounds out the month for PS4 owners. The single-player, 16-bit Golden Era-style JRPG from publisher Deck13 Interactive follows a group of heroes across the continent of Valandis, with wind-tanned plateaus, exotic archipelagos, sunken cities and forgotten dungeons, plus mechs, dragons and a story that has been quietly recommended as one of the strongest indie JRPGs in years.
The August Monthly Games lineup is still downloadable until Monday, August 31, 2026. PlayStation Plus members who have not already added Dying Light 2 Stay Human: Reloaded Edition, Big Walk and Signalis to their library have just over a week left to do so before they rotate out.
The September line-up is a more confident spread than usual for PlayStation Plus Monthly Games. Sniper Elite: Resistance and MLB The Show 26 are obvious day-one candidates for anyone keeping a backlog, Wobbly Life doubles up as a family-friendly party option for the early autumn, and Chained Echoes is a genuinely well-regarded RPG that has been off the PS Plus carousel for a long time.
