PlayStation Plus Adds Sniper Elite Resistance, MLB The Show 26, Wobbly Life and Chained Echoes for September 2026

PlayStation Plus Essential members can add four new titles to their library starting today, September 1, through October 5, 2026, according to the official PlayStation Blog announcement. Sony's monthly lineup this month pairs a hardcore tactical shooter with a sports sim, a family-friendly sandbox, and a 16-bit-inspired JRPG.

Sniper Elite: Resistance (PS5, PS4) puts the franchise's signature ballistics, stealth, and tactical third-person combat in occupied France, running parallel to Sniper Elite 5. The full campaign can be played in two-player co-op, the fan-favourite Axis Invasion mode returns, and the Survival mode now supports up to four players against waves of enemies. Competitive 16-player matches round out the package, with XP, medals, and ribbons on the line.

MLB The Show 26 (PS5) brings a fresh Road to the Show career path, including a coveted MLB Draft Combine and 11 additional college programs. Diamond Dynasty adds a new Red Diamond rarity tier across World Baseball Classic, 2026 All-Star Game, and Pipeline Series card collections. PlayStation Plus members also unlock the exclusive MLB The Show 26 Jump Start Bundle, which delivers five The Show Packs, one Equipment Pack, and a Jumpstart Choice Pack.

Wobbly Life (PS5, PS4) opens a sandbox world where almost everything is interactive. Solo play, online, and local split-screen co-op for up to four players carry through story missions, mini-games, toys, and secrets.

Chained Echoes (PS4) closes the month with a classically designed JRPG built around turn-based combat, aerial exploration aboard the airship Crimson Shuttle, and a 16-bit-inspired pixel art style.

The lineup is available in all regions, though individual games may vary by store. PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium members can still expect regular Game Catalog updates separate from this Essential drop.
