PC Gaming Show Tokyo Direct 2026 Locks September 20 Date With Frankie Ward Hosting

PC Gamer has locked in September 20 for the PC Gaming Show Tokyo Direct 2026, a 90-minute broadcast staged inside Tokyo Game Show and built around more than 35 PC titles.

PC Gamer confirmed the date and host lineup on September 2. Esports veteran Frankie Ward returns to host the show, marking her second PC Gaming Show appearance of 2026 after fronting the June event. The broadcast streams live at 9:00 a.m. PT / 12:00 p.m. ET on YouTube, Twitch, X, Facebook and Steam.

Atari, Devolver Digital and New Blood Interactive are among the publishers confirmed for the lineup. PC Gamer said the show will lean on world premieres, brand-new trailers, on-the-floor reports from Tokyo Game Show and exclusive announcements. Coverage from the show floor will be filed by PC Gamer staff, including Wes Fenlon, with additional reporting due from Tokyo.

The PC Gaming Show Tokyo Direct slots in alongside other TGS 2026 programming: Capcom's Spotlight airs September 16 ahead of the Makuhari Messe show floor running September 17-21, while Sony's State of Play and State of Play Japan broadcast back-to-back on September 3. PLAYISM will run its own TGS 2026 Preview livestream on September 10.
