MARVEL Tōkon: Fighting Souls Update 1.003 Adds Free Wolverine ‘Battle Reborn’ Suit Crossover With Marvel’s Wolverine

Arc System Works has shipped MARVEL Tōkon: Fighting Souls update 1.003 on PS5 and PC, delivering a free crossover with Insomniac Games’ upcoming Marvel’s Wolverine by adding the “Battle Reborn” suit for Wolverine. The patch also addresses crashes, online stability, Arcadia Rumble, replays, badge progress, matchmaking, and a Windows Update compatibility fix on PC.

The new costume — Wolverine’s Battle Reborn suit, designed by Insomniac for its September 15 PlayStation 5 action game — is now available as a free download for all Tōkon players. The suit can be equipped in battle and as the online lobby avatar, and it ships in all eight colors for both versions. Arc System Works originally previewed the collaboration alongside PlayStation Studios and Marvel Games during San Diego Comic-Con in July.

The same patch brings a long list of fixes. On PC, it addresses a crash triggered by Windows Update KB5121003 and reduces excessive Steam platform update processes, while PS5 users gain a fix for a loop that could occur if the game was launched before the language-settings download finished. Both platforms see broader stability improvements in Startup Battle, Battle Guide, and Character Lessons, a fix for Peni Parker’s grounded Link Attack, Arcadia Rumble network and CPU-replacement adjustments, replay visual fixes, a corrected “Participate in Arcadia Rumble” badge progress save, and a new Match Area setting in Ranked and Casual Match menus that lets players narrow the matchmaking region.
