Lollipop Chainsaw RePOP Celebrates Its 2nd Anniversary Today With a Free Party Dress Costume and Photo Frame

Dragami Games has released a free 2nd Anniversary update for Lollipop Chainsaw RePOP, adding a new "Party Dress" costume for protagonist Juliet Starling and a matching photo frame for Photo Mode. The patch went live on September 12, 2026, two years after the zombie-hunting remaster first launched.

The new outfit puts Juliet in a white strapless party dress with a flared skirt, a bow accent, and a red rose embellishment. In Dragami's announcement, the studio frames the costume as Juliet stepping out to enjoy the anniversary before the undead inevitably crash the party again: the photo frame that ships alongside it is designed for capturing anniversary screenshots of the look.

The anniversary update arrives as a free download across every platform the remaster currently supports, including PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch 2, and PC via Steam. Lollipop Chainsaw RePOP itself is a 2024 remaster of the original 2012 PS3 cult favorite from Grasshopper Manufacture, featuring HD visuals, faster loading, refined chainsaw combat, and an optional RePOP mode that adds pop-art visual effects to the gore.

The patch lands a little over a week before Dragami takes the stage at Tokyo Game Show 2026, where the studio is set to premiere a brand-new Lollipop Chainsaw sequel with a playable demo from September 17 to 21. SEGA will distribute the new title in Japan and Southeast Asia, with a "major announcement" promised for the main-stage event on September 19.
