Level-5's 'VISION 2026 II: Dreams' Broadcast Locks Professor Layton Remake for 2027, Confirms DECAPOLICE on Switch 2 and Reveals Inazuma Eleven: Bold Revolution

Level-5 used its second 2026 "VISION" online showcase, streamed on September 10 (JST), to put a full roadmap on the board — confirming a Nintendo Switch 2, PlayStation 5 and Steam remake of the very first Professor Layton game, announcing an Inazuma Eleven sequel, revealing a new Yo-kai Watch 2 remake title, and narrowing the release window for its long-delayed crime-suspense RPG DECAPOLICE. The broadcasts are Level-5's main direct channel to players; CEO Akihiro Hino fronted every announcement himself.

Headlining the show was Professor Layton and the Curious Village Remake, a 2027-bound rebuild of the 2007 Nintendo DS original. The official site confirms Switch 2, Switch, PS5 and Steam as supported platforms, with localization in Japanese, English (US), English (UK), Traditional Chinese, Simplified Chinese, French, Italian, German, Spanish and Korean. A new teaser trailer and an official website launched alongside the broadcast, and puzzle creation is once again credited to Akira Tago. Curious Village was the entry that defined Level-5's puzzle-adventure template, so a ground-up remake — not a remaster — is a meaningful reset for the franchise.

DECAPOLICE, the dual-world detective RPG first shown at a February 2023 Nintendo Direct and delayed twice since, was given a firmer window. The game's English site now lists Switch 2, PS5 and Steam as confirmed platforms and pegs the release to "COMING IN 2027," replacing earlier "2026" language on Gematsu and Nintendo Life. A new Switch 2 build trailer and a gameplay intro were added to the official DECAPOLICE page during the event, and the simultaneous anime release that Level-5 first announced in 2024 is still attached to the ship date.

Inazuma Eleven: Bold Revolution was confirmed as a direct sequel to Inazuma Eleven: Victory Road, with a dual-protagonist hook: returning lead Destin Billows is joined by newcomer Shane Starfall (Nagi Furuhoshi). Platforms and a release date were deliberately withheld — Hino said those would land at the next Level-5 Vision. The Inazuma Series account on X posted the reveal image at the same time as the stream.

Yo-kai Watch 2: Haunted Domain, a fresh remake of the 2014 3DS game, was first teased during the September 9 Nintendo Direct and then expanded at the Level-5 event: the official site lists Switch 2 only for now, but Gematsu and RPG Site confirm PlayStation 5 and Steam versions are also coming, with new story content and additional Yo-kai on top of the existing Bony Spirits / Fleshy Souls / Psychic Specters structure. A specific release date remains unannounced.

The broadcast doubled as a status report on the studio. Hino used the Inazuma Eleven segment to re-emphasize that the next Vision event will carry platforms and dates for the sequel, and the DECAPOLICE portion stressed that the simultaneous anime launch is still on the schedule. None of these announcements change any previously locked release windows for unrelated publishers, but together they reset Level-5's calendar through 2027 and beyond.
