Konami Press Start Showcase Delivers Townfall Cast Interview, New Belmont's Curse Gameplay and Rhapsody in Scarlet Reveal
Konami's Press Start publisher showcase aired today with a new Silent Hill: Townfall cast interview, fresh Castlevania: Belmont's Curse gameplay, the formal reveal of Rhapsody in Scarlet, a first real look at Project Zircon and the user-generated Konami Wai Wai World Craft platformer.

Konami held its Konami Press Start publisher showcase today, September 3, 2026, packing 30 minutes of new gameplay, developer messages and first reveals across the company's biggest upcoming slate. The full broadcast is now available on Konami's YouTube and Twitch channels and confirms several pieces of news that had only been teased in advance.
Silent Hill: Townfall got an extended cast conversation, with writer and director Jon McKellan sitting down with Jovan Adepo, Kezia Burrows and Terry O'Quinn to talk about bringing the first-person horror adventure to life ahead of its September 24 release on PlayStation 5 and PC. McKellan confirmed he had been doing an impression of O'Quinn while recording the first trailer, which is part of why the casting landed.
Castlevania: Belmont's Curse received a brand-new gameplay trailer scored to the Castlevania II: Simon's Quest staple "Bloody Tears." The footage showed off protagonist Sonia's weapon combos and tarot-card-based magic, several new bosses and the first taste of Graham McTavish returning as the voice of Dracula. Belmont's Curse launches October 15, 2026 on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and PC.
Konami used the showcase to formally introduce Rhapsody in Scarlet, a brand-new original action game set in a jazz-fueled alternate-history 1920s New York, following young magus Ellie Myers as she is drawn into a hidden conflict among the city's secret magic users. The title is headed to PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and PC via Steam, with a release date still to be announced. Both an announcement trailer and a story trailer debuted today.
Project Zircon, first announced roughly three years ago, returned with a deeper look at its deck-building roguelike combat, in which players stack cards to defeat the Calamity Dragon of the Abyss. Konami confirmed pre-registration is now open on Steam, though no release date was given.
The biggest surprise was Konami Wai Wai World Craft, a user-generated content platform inspired by Fortnite and Roblox that revives Konami's 1988 NES crossover Wai Wai World. Players can build, customize and share levels using characters drawn from across Konami's history, including Simon Belmont and Contra's Bill Rizer, with no release date yet.
Rev. NOiR producer Nobuki Kadoi returned to expand on the action RPG's story trailer and combat systems, while eFootball: Kick-Off! received a free League Mode update launching September 24 that lets players pick clubs from European, South American, Asian, Oceanian and J.League competitions for full seasonal play. Konami also confirmed that Silent Hill f, Suikoden I & II HD Remaster and Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater will be on sale through September 15.
The showcase closed out without any update on the Silent Hill 1 remake currently in development at Bloober Team, which Konami had explicitly ruled out ahead of the broadcast.
The full broadcast is archived on Konami's official YouTube channel, and the Konami Press Start landing page collects every announcement from the show.
