Crimson Desert Patch 2.01.00 Goes Live With Tenfold Camp Donation Boost and "The Cursed Knight" Fix
Pearl Abyss has rolled Crimson Desert Update 2.01.00 across PC, Mac, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S on September 4. The patch raises the Camp Funds earned from silver donations by 10x, adds the Gold Bar Investment Mission, and repairs the quest blocker in "The Cursed Knight" alongside a string of combat, UI, graphics and localization fixes.

Pearl Abyss has released Crimson Desert Patch 2.01.00 for the Enhanced edition across PC, Mac, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and the Epic Games Store, with the rollout flagged live at 04:20 UTC on September 4, 2026. The console build ships as version 1.000.505 and is positioned as a follow-up to the Enhanced Update that reworked the open-world action-adventure's visuals and systems last month.
The headline economy change is a tenfold increase to the Camp Funds gained from donating silver to Greymane Camp. Pearl Abyss also fixes a long-running display bug where the resource cost shown for a camp donation mission was lower than the amount the game actually required, and it adds a new "Gold Bar Investment Mission" to the dispatch list. Combat receives several quality-of-life corrections, including an Ambush ability that no longer fires on unintended targets, a Focus Spirit refill that now works while clinging, a musket-charged shot that actually fires, and a Body Slam freeze that previously trapped players in shallow water. The patch also lets horse-riding quests fully restore the mount's health on retry.
On the content side, the developer closes the "The Cursed Knight" quest blocker that kept the mission from completing after every sub-quest was done, repairs the Greymane Camp furniture spawn glitch, prevents the summon spell from accidentally pulling extra mounts alongside Blackstar, and tilts the camera in photo mode. The skill menu now shows a visual cue for which abilities unlock through skill-related knowledge entries. UI improvements include a one-click minimum font size picker, Spanish voice language support in the affected menu path, and a fix for the disappearing bottom UI when switching tabs while managing Abyss Gear.
Graphics work targets the noisy weather look that players reported during rain and around puddles, fixes an indoor lighting bug on M5-series Macs, and stops outdoor furniture placement from tanking the frame rate near fences. Localization is broadly tightened, NPC interaction delays are gone, and a long list of smaller quests — from the chocolate factory conveyor belts to the Calphade ending cutscene involving Barden Middler — is repaired.
The Mac App Store build is still rolling out; Pearl Abyss' status board marks it as "in progress" while Steam, PlayStation, Xbox and Epic Games Store are all confirmed live. Patch notes are available in full on the official Crimson Desert update page, and the studio announced the rollout on X earlier the same day.
